Language Class Cancellation Policy

This policy covers World Language Connection’s cancellation of a class, minimum student enrollment requirements, and cancellation by student.

Cancelled Classes 

Applies to class cancellations initiated by World Language Connection

It is our intent to avoid cancellation or rescheduling of any language classes. Unfortunately circumstances occasionally require us to cancel or reschedule class.

Instructor-led classes are student-enrollment dependent. The required minimum student enrollment is eight (8) students for instructor-led classes. Classes with enrollment of less than eight students are subject to cancellation or rescheduling at the discretion of the management.

Classes will be canceled, if necessary, before the scheduled start date of class. Cancellation notices will then be sent to enrolled students by email, to the address provided at the time of registration.

Full refunds will be issued for classes canceled by World Language Connection.

Please be aware that unforeseen circumstances may require us to cancel or reschedule classes, and that World Language Connection will not be liable for any expenses incurred due to class re-scheduling or cancellations, for example: drop off/pick up or travel expenses.

Enrollment Cancellations

Applies to cancellations initiated by the student or parent.

We request students/parents cancel enrollment as soon as possible. All classes have limited seating; in the event you cannot attend please cancel your enrollment immediately to allow room for other students to participate.

If you cancel student enrollment:

  • More than 7 days before the first day of class, a full refund will be issued
  • 7 days or less before the first day of class, a 50% refund will be issued
  • On or after the first day of class, no refund will be issued

Missed Class Policies

There will be no refund or credit for missed classes.
